Game Details - Locking Archer

Locking Archer is a five-reel, three-row video slot with 25 fixed paylines. It is themed around a Viking village, with the horn-helmeted chief being the most valuable symbol, followed by the white-bearded village elder, the village beauty, the pony-tailed blacksmith and the high playing cards.

The large ceremonial hammer is the Wild symbol, and there are two different Scatter symbols, the Hut and the Locking Archer.

The conventional Scatter is the Hut, which awards 10 Free Games when landing three of these on reels 2, 3 and 4. During Free Games, wins randomly pay out 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x multipliers, making Free Games rounds potentially very rewarding. In addition, during Free Games rounds, landing three Hut scatters awards another 10 more Free Games.

The Locking Archer is also a Scatter but doesn’t award free games. Instead, landing Locking Archer symbols on both reels 1 and 2 triggers this feature. The Locking Archers are locked in place while the player is awarded one free spin on reels 3, 4 and 5. If no other Archer Scatters are landed, the feature ends with a payout of the face value of 2 Archers. If a third Scatter is landed on reel 3, this is locked and the player gets two free spins; if a fourth Scatter on reel 4 results, another three free spins are awarded. The feature ends when five Locking Archers appear on the reels, with a rather handsome payout!
