How to Setup your Muun Wallet
Step 1- Install Muun Wallet
Download the Muun wallet
Once the application is installed, a pop-up window will emerge that will welcome you to Muun.
Step 2 - Create a New Wallet
From the main menu, select ‘’create new wallet,’’ you’ll then be asked to set up a 4- digit pin for your wallet.
Create a secure pin, and make sure you remember it.
Once you successfully re-enter and confirm your pin, you’ll see a screen that looks like this.

Step 3 - Backup your wallet
Before you load some funds onto your wallet, we recommend that you create a backup of your new wallet. To backup your wallet, press on the prompt right below the send and receive buttons.

Once completed, you will receive this prompt congratulating you on setting up your wallet backup.
In case you delete the Muun app or lose your phone, you can now restore your old wallet with its funds by downloading the Muun wallet on a new device and using your email and password to recover it.
Step 4 - Receive Bitcoin
Now your wallet is backed up, it’s time to use it!
To receive funds, press the RECEIVE button on the home screen of your Muun wallet.
Your wallet will generate a QR code and an address (series of letters and numbers).
You can share your address via two different ways.
- QR code> Scan with a camera
- Text address> Copy and paste
Copy your Bitcoin text address and paste it on the website where you’re sending the funds from (e.g. withdrawal page on an exchange).
